Evomanias / start here

Your first session, explained.

Evomanias is a layered progression server. You do not progress by chasing level alone. You hunt, complete tasks, collect materials, turn rewards into permanent attributes, unlock travel, and then return to stronger content.

The short version

Do not chase level. Build a loop.

This guide is curated from the current task, checkpoint, autoloot, currency, and NPC systems.

First session

Start in this order.

Every step removes one unknown from the first hour. You do not need to understand the whole server before you begin.

  1. 01

    Create and enter

Set up the account and character before worrying about optimization.

    • Create your website account, then create a character and choose the vocation you want to learn first.
    • Download the current client, sign in, and select the character. The client contains the task, looter, map, bank, and combat windows.
    • On your first login, locate the temple. It is your safe reference point and the base for early travel.
  2. 02

    Open the three windows

Do this before you leave the temple so the server stops feeling opaque.

    • Open Tasks and read the available hunts. Defeating any listed target starts its progress automatically.
    • Open the Looter window and the How It Works tab. Add only items you understand or actively need.
    • Explore the cities and map, discover secret boss spawns and be prepared for unknown challenges. Using multi-clients and having a strong blocker is essential.
  3. 03

    Start the task loop

Tasks are the safest first engine for levels, points, currencies, items, and access.

    • Choose a target that matches your current level and survivability. Your first goal is repeatable progress, not the highest monster listed.
    • Kill the target and let the task tracker record the progress. Use !tasks to see active hunts and your current task points.
  4. 04

    Protect the important drops

Your inventory is a progression ledger, not a pile of vendor trash.

    • Pick up loot from corpses and containers. Inspect unfamiliar materials before selling them.
    • Keep addon and quest materials for NPC collection paths. Many NPC trials require exact item counts and can award outfit addons plus attribute points.
    • Keep Gold Nuggets and Star Coins separate from ordinary Gold Coins in your thinking. They are high-value progression currencies used by quests, bosses, attributes, crafting, and NPC collections.
  5. 05

    Turn activity into permanent power

Attributes and access usually outlast the equipment you are wearing today.

    • Prioritize task first completions, NPC addon trials, and any reward that grants an attribute point or permanent access.
    • Spend attribute points deliberately around your vocation. Damage is not the only route: health, mana, sustain, critical chance, control, and resource economy can all matter.
    • Use task points for future boss permissions only after your character can complete the related hunt reliably. Permanent growth compounds across every later zone.
  6. 06

    Unlock the next route

Level is a key, but checkpoints, quest storage, gear, and survival are the door.

    • Use the World Map to find a checkpoint near your next target. Step onto it to activate it when you meet its level and access rules.
    • Activated checkpoints appear in the waypoint selector. This turns the map into a personal travel network as you explore.
    • If travel is refused, finish combat, leave a dungeon or jail, finish a daily reward, and return to a safe state before trying again.
Systems that matter early

Learn the right things first.

These are the mechanics that turn a fresh character into a character with direction.

Permanent power

Treat attributes as the real build.

Levels open content, but attributes determine how well the character performs inside that content. A small gear upgrade helps one hunt. A permanent attribute point helps every hunt after it.

  • Tasks can award a unique attribute point on first completion.
  • NPC addon and collection trials can award attribute points alongside outfit stages and access.
  • Keep a short-term goal: one task chain, one NPC material set, or one attribute exchange at a time.
Ammo slot utility

Equip the Task Device.

The Task Device is a task utility, not ordinary ammunition. Keep it in the ammo slot while hunting active tasks.

  • It gives active task kills a 10% chance to count one extra kill.
  • It can also be used to open the task window when you need to review hunts.
  • If it is in your backpack instead of the ammo slot, the bonus does not apply.

Capacity first

Build your Looter list carefully.

The Looter window collects the items you choose. Start with progression drops, then expand the list as you learn what each zone is for.

  • Use the Looter button in the client and add items by name, or use !autoloot add, item name.
  • The base capacity is 5 slots without premium and 10 with premium.
  • Using one Extra Autoloot Slot item adds 10 capacity: 15 without premium or 20 with premium.
  • Use !autoloot list to inspect the list, and remove items you no longer need so a slot is not wasted.
!autoloot add, star coin
Every hunt pays twice

Convert loot into bank balance.

Loot is both material and money. Pick up everything from containers, keep anything that may belong to a task or addon, then convert the safe remainder.

  • Use the Items Seller on accepted loot to convert it into bank value.
  • You can also throw accepted loot into the Alchemist's Flame below the temple to increase the bank balance.
  • Bank often. Ordinary Gold Coins and Star Coins are separate protected balances; Gold Nuggets are a separate high-tier item.
  • Star Coins and Gold Nuggets feed boss access, quests, attributes, crafting, and NPC collections, so do not spend them like ordinary coins.
Spend with intent

Accumulate task points before chasing bosses.

The task system is a progression ladder. Every completed hunt can move you toward harder tasks, better rewards, and boss permissions.

  • Tasks track automatically from kills and deliver configured completion rewards automatically.
  • Use the Tasks directory to filter boss-linked hunts and read the cost before spending points.
  • Use !taskboss to open the Task Boss selector, find the available boss spawns, review the cost and owned permissions, and choose when to spend.
  • Task bosses can accelerate progression through configured reward containers, currencies, equipment, and special loot. Attempt them when the surrounding hunt is comfortable.
!taskboss
Navigate the world

Use the map as a checklist.

The world is intentionally layered. Checkpoints turn exploration into reliable travel instead of a one-time walk that you have to repeat.

  • Press Ctrl+M to open the World Map.
  • Temple and Spawns and Quests are your baseline destinations. Higher checkpoints lead toward boss and island tiers.
  • Walk onto a checkpoint to activate it. The server checks level and access storage, then adds it to the waypoint selector.
  • Examples of progression gates include Vorganth and Horgar around level 200, Mirage Key Island around 350, several boss routes from 600, and major island routes from 1,200.

Do not lose the loop

Prepare before a risky hunt.

Death, travel restrictions, and inventory loss are part of the server loop. A short preparation routine saves more progress than rushing into a higher zone.

  • Use !bless before dangerous content when you can afford it. Blessings reduce normal death penalties; carried items and separate systems still require care.
  • Bank ordinary Gold Coins and Star Coins regularly instead of carrying every balance through a hunt.
  • Do not start a long route while in combat, inside a dungeon, in jail, or while a daily reward is being claimed. The World Map intentionally blocks those states.
!bless
Long-term route

Build toward the new world.

The strongest characters do more than reach the level gate. Plan for at least 5,000 attribute points; 10,000 is a serious endgame benchmark. New-world access also checks attributes, so level alone will not open every route.

  • Find Aeloria Vale and use it as a hub for the next tier of exploration.
  • Conquer Colossus and learn its loot table. Store items are useful starter equipment, but the best upgrades come from boss kills.
  • Discover secret attributes and complete every visible attribute path before pushing into the 1,000-attribute areas.
Group advantage

Conquer castles with a party.

Castles are high-density boss routes with spawn intervals worth planning around. A party lets you hold the route, share loot, and take advantage of experience buffs, loot buffs, boosts, and bonuses.

  • Scout the castle layout, note the heavily packed boss spawns, and time your return around the respawn interval.
  • Join a party for difficult pulls instead of splitting a group across unsafe rooms.
  • Stack compatible experience, loot, and online bonuses before the run so every clear compounds your progression.
Repeatable challenges

Keep the 15-minute loop moving.

There are 200 dungeons to discover, plus wave monster events and boss challenges to repeat frequently. The cooldown is only 15 minutes, so a prepared group can keep rotating content instead of waiting through a long lockout.

  • Clear one dungeon, record its route and reward pattern, then queue the next challenge when the timer ends.
  • Use wave events to test sustained damage, healing, and party positioning before a boss attempt.
  • Return every 15 minutes when the cooldown expires and turn the rotation into a reliable source of loot and experience.
Server prestige

Turn tournament wins into rank.

Participate in tournaments regularly and grow your server rank score. Top-ranked players unlock significant boosts, character benefits, awards, and advantages that make valuable loot drops far more common.

  • Read the format and entry rules before queueing, then prepare supplies and a role-specific build.
  • Track your rank score after every result and keep competing even when a single bracket goes badly.
  • Use tournament advantages to accelerate boss, dungeon, and attribute progression rather than treating them as cosmetic trophies.
World Map / Ctrl+M

Use checkpoints to make the world smaller.

Activate a route once, then use the waypoint selector to return. Do not confuse a level gate with a complete progression requirement.
